Arizona Developmental Disabilities Planning Council (ADDPC)
DDNN Summer 2018

grant opportunity for employment

The Arizona Developmental Disabilities Planning Council is excited to announce a new round of funding for employment projects serving people with developmental disabilities (DD) in Arizona. We are looking for proposals to support businesses to diversify their workforce by hiring, training and retaining people with developmental disabilities. The main goal is to increase employment opportunities for workers with DD, and design and implement strategies to retain and promote these workers.

Applicants should be willing to diversify their organization, implement a model hiring and training program, and share their story with the Council and other businesses. This solicitation is open to nonprofits, businesses, tribal governments, universities, and government agencies. The total amount of funding available is $150,000 over 12 months with the potential for renewal for up to two additional years. Multiple awards will be considered. Applications are due July 19, 2018 at 4:30pm.
