Comprehensive Review and Analysis of DD Services and Supports in Arizona

Sonoran UCEDD, entered into an Interagency Service Agreement with Arizona Department of Economic Security to provide the Arizona Developmental Disabilities Planning Council (ADDPC) with a comprehensive review and analysis of the extent to which services, supports, and other assistance are available to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, and the extent of unmet needs for services, supports and other assistance of those individuals and their families in the State. The purpose of this comprehensive review and analysis was to provide the ADDPC with current, accurate and complete information in order to develop its 5 year plan.

The Scope of Work included the following components:

  • Review and analysis of existing programs in the state providing services, supports or other assistance to individuals with DD and their families
  • Review and analysis of existing situation at a state and national level to determine services available and unmet needs for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families
  • Data Collection from statewide stakeholders as to current developmental disabilities services and supports, unmet needs, current environment and priorities for services, supports and other assistance
  • Performing data analysis and developing a comprehensive report

The comprehensive report has been utilized by all Arizona DD Network partners to help inform the work we do in the community.
